Dicksons of Perth is a family run business with over 60 years of experience in the motor industry as well as multiple generations. We are official dealers of new Auto-Sleepers, Roller Team, Itineo and Pilote motorhomes, as well as being the only official dealer of new Malibu motorhomes in Scotland. We require a service advisor to join our busy aftersales team dealing with all the requirements of the customer from booking jobs into the diary and costing parts. You will have a strong telephone manner and able to reply to emails in a professional format. During busy periods, you will also be required to assist the Hire department for which full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is a people person with a confident manner who will be able to identify the customer’s requirements to provide the best service possible. Previous experience in a busy service centre is required and having technical skills would be advantageous. Duties Taking telephone calls and directing to the appropriate person. Answering emails from customers and other members of staff. Booking jobs into the workshop diary. Updating customers on job progress and completion. Raising invoices and taking payments. Uploading services onto manufacturer systems. Taking hire bookings and payments. Requirements Previous service advisor experience. Strong telephone manner. Ability to deal with customers and staff members of all levels. Good computer literacy. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to multi-task. We have a vacancy for an internal valeter of motorhomes and caravans at our busy aftersales and hire centre. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles have been cleaned to company standards and reporting any issues to the service or hire team. This position would ideally suit someone who enjoys working in an active physical role and has excellent attention to detail and can work both as part of a team and on their own using their own initiative. Duties Cleaning caravans and motorhomes to company standards. Driving vehicles between the sales and aftersales sites. Any other tasks as required. Requirements Full UK driving licence. Experience of driving larger vehicles. Previous motor vehicle or commercial cleaning experience. Self-motivator who can work as part of a team. The ability to multi-task. Benefits 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Working times are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm and Saturdays on a rota. Salary will be dependent on experience.
