About hiring a motorhome in Scotland

Our diverse fleet features a range of sizes and styles to suit any traveller’s needs. From compact campervans ideal for couples seeking a romantic escape to spacious motorhomes equipped to accommodate families or groups, we have the perfect vehicle for your journey. Each rental comes fully equipped with high-quality amenities, including comfortable sleeping areas, fully fitted kitchens, and efficient heating and cooling systems, providing a home away from home experience wherever you roam.

Renting a motorhome or campervan allows you to set your own pace and itinerary. Without the constraints of hotel bookings or fixed travel routes, you can explore off-the-beaten-path destinations, change your plans on a whim, and spend as much or as little time as you like in each location. This freedom is ideal for those who love spontaneous adventures and discovering hidden gems along the way.

Motorhomes and campervans are designed to provide a comfortable living space on the go. Equipped with sleeping areas, kitchen facilities, and often a bathroom, they offer a level of convenience that’s hard to match. This means you can enjoy a good night’s sleep, prepare your own meals, and have access to your personal belongings at all times, making travel both enjoyable and economical.

Renting a motorhome or campervan can be a cost-effective way to travel, especially for groups or families. Sharing the cost of rental and fuel, along with preparing meals in the vehicle, can lead to significant savings compared to traditional travel expenses like hotels, restaurants, and car rentals. Additionally, the ability to visit multiple destinations in one trip adds value to your travel experience.

In the event of the motorhome being involved in an accident in which property is damaged and/or people are injured, the hirer must inform the police immediately. The hirer must also immediately inform Dicksons of any loss or damage occurring to the motorhome, and of any fault.

The motorhome must not be used until the damage has been repaired, corrected and the fault determined. The motorhome must not be abandoned without adequate provisions for it being safe and secure.
